Introductions and a recommendation..
Greetings to all, just found the community and wanted to pass along a book recommendation. I've just been reading Tau Malachi's book, St. Mary Magdalene: the Gnostic tradition of the Holy Bride, and I've found it to be a wonderfully inspiring collection of teachings and stories passed down in a Gnostic oral tradition.

Here's an article by the author that talks about going beyond the Da Vinci Code to understand the Magdalene: http://www.llewellynjournal.com/article/1136/

I'm also a fan of the songs Tori Amos has written in recent years on this and related topics, Marys of The Sea and Original Sinsuality. She mentions her relationship with the Magdalene in her book Tori Amos: Piece By Piece, as well.

May the rekindling of the divine feminine traditions bring healing and love to all.

Thanks so much for that post! I am needing a rekindling of the divine feminine, as I have lost touch with her a little bit. And recommendations are always welcome :). I am an AVID fan of Tori's and I happen to have read Piece by Piece as well, which was one of the catalysts for my connection to Mary (along with the Da Vinci Code, of course). Her music, especially her songs about Mary, really inspire me and it's nice to see that others are touched as well. Again, thanks for the cheerful pep rally :).

Thank you very much for this post! I just got St. Mary Magdalene, The Gnostic Tradition of the Holy Bride last week in the mail from Amazon! ;) I am also in the very beginnings of becoming an initiate into Sophian Gnosticism!

I didn't know this about Tori Amos' music before-will definitely check it out!

Many Blessings!
